The three varieties are good mates, working in harmony offering flavours of spiced cherries and dark plums, although it is definitely savoury with some charcuterie and an attractive ferrous character. Flavours sway across a just mid-weighted palate, fine tannins and some sandy texture that the acidity keeps flowing to the end. An excellent Sunday lunch wine, or whenever you like.
